Anchor Marine & Boatlift Co stands behind every job we do. Our dedicated office and field personnel take pride in delivering a quality project on each and every job. We are a full service construction company that handles every aspect of the job from design to permitting to building and maintenance.
Dan Coston
Owner and President
A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Dan brings a steadfast commitment of integrity and service to our clients. He is the owner of Anchor Marine & Boatlift Co, specializing in dock building, boat lifts and seawall construction and Coston Marine Services, which specializes in dredging, heavy marine work and erosion control.
He is also the owner of Environmental Permitting Associates, which specializes in obtaining the permits required for our jobs. Born and raised in Florida, Dan spent his summers building docks and seawalls with his father, Dave Coston who, at that time, owned Trident Marine. After returning from the Air Force, Dan and Dave formed Coston Marine. Then, looking to expand, in 1999, Dan acquired Anchor Marine & Boatlift Co, earning his Anchor Marine & Boatlift Co License in 2003.
Steady at the helm, through the boom of the early 2000’s, three hurricanes and the recession of the late 2000’s, Dan’s history and experience brings to our clients a company they can count on.
Rick Schirm
Vice President of Marketing and Sales
With a 17 year history at Anchor Marine & Boatlift Co, Rick has extensive knowledge of the marine industry and works hard every day to maintain personal connections with his clients.
He genuinely cares about and stands behind all of our products and services. Prior to joining Anchor Marine & Boatlift Co, Rick sustained a successful career as an entrepreneur and business owner with decades of experience in the hospitality industry. Rick is an Army veteran, graduate of Georgia Tech and father of three.
Larry Shaw
Director of Operations
Larry is responsible for scheduling and overseeing every aspect of our construction jobs. For over 25 years, his work has been a valuable asset toAnchor Marine & Boatlift Co as he brings knowledge, experience and value to our clients in every project.
Larry grew up in Palm Beach County, spending much of his time around boats and the water. At age 15, he began working in construction, after being hired by the father of a friend. This led him to obtain his Florida General Contractor License at the young age of 24, which he still maintains today.
Patricia Monahan
Permitting Specialist
Pat has been with Anchor Marine & Boatlift Co for over three years as our permitting specialist. She brings over 10 years’ experience in commercial real estate development, working with federal, state and local governmental agencies to obtain all permits required to meet the building needs of large retail corporations.
Through our sister company, Environmental Permitting Associates, Pat streamlines the permitting process, from start to finish for all of our clients’ projects. Patricia holds a BHS degree from FAU, has lived in South Florida for most of her life and currently resides in Jupiter.
All of our work comes with warranties (depending upon products selected and installed) and we offer free estimates.
